The name Kyanite comes from the Greek word kyanos, which means "deep blue." Kyanite was also referred to as disthene, meaning "two strengths." For centuries, Kyanite was often confused with sapphire, so much of its historical uses remain mysterious. Today, Kyanite is used in electronics and electrical equipment and can also be found in porcelain plumbing and dishware.

Kyanite instantly clears negative energy to align one's self. It is one of the few stones that does not hold negative energy, which means it doesn't need to be cleansed. Kyanite is great for energetically cutting through blockages and fears. With more fl ow and communication in the physical and spiritual realms, Divine guidance and wisdom are easily accessed. This stone encourages honest communication from the heart, enhancing awareness and understanding by acting as a bridge that connects us to another's perspective. Please do not leave Renata in the sun for extended periods of time, as sun bleaching can occur. Renata is not water safe, so please avoid submerging her in water.
Crystalline bath - Crystals can regenerate by being placed on other Crystals such as Kyanite or natural Citrine for 24 hours.
Breath/Meditation bath - Intentional breathing through meditation or any healing art is another restorative technique. As you breathe, imagine a ray of light passing through your Crystal, collecting what is no longer needed, and moving it back into the divine Universe.
